this is an example of a page – something mostly no one ever reads. it’s cool though because i don’t particularly like writing about myself. suffice it to say (if you are the one and only person reading this) that cooking has become my greatest distraction from life (which pretty much sucks dirty canal water) and feeding the people who have really “been” here for me is a nice side bonus.

i don’t do metal – metal is for music and the construction industry. if you catch me using a “can” of something please feel free to give me 10 kinds of hell. i don’t like my food to taste like tin so i use fresh or freshly frozen (usually stuff i harvested and put up in the freezer during the growing season). i like organic but know that with that comes its own particular dynamic in the major industrial food complex – i just try to pay attention to the quality of a product, not so much a “label” because labels are for beer bottles.

i live in the ghetto/the hood/the valley and while that proves its own parameter, because i live in an area that has become heavily populated by hispanics, well, i get a lot of good mexican produce at incredibly cheap prices. hola.
